Paranormal investigators at Historic Shepherdstown Museum, October 24 and October 30.
BooFest at the Museum
Plan to visit the Historic Shepherdstown Museum, the most haunted building in the most haunted town in America during Shepherdstown’s BooFest. Some of our most prominent spirits— the lady in white, the amorous Frenchman, the Civil War soldiers, and the unlucky duelist—may be on hand to greet you. Don’t miss the Traveler’s Room that, according to some, is the most haunted room in the building.
Free ghost tours of the Museum will be offered on Saturday, October 24, and Saturday, October 31, every half hour from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. (Donations are always welcomed.)
Braver folks can join local paranormal investigators Patricia Marin and Meredith Moore, along with psychic medium Angel Wells and dowser Les Johnson, as they explore the three floors of the museum on Saturday, October 24 and Friday, October 30, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tickets for these evening events are $20 per person Tickets for Saturday October 24 or Friday October 30. Please preregister as space is limited. Call 304-876-0910 for further information.
Bring your own equipment – digital recorders, cameras or ghost cams, EMF meters or other tools — or use ours. All proceeds benefit the Museum.
Don’t be scared. Our ghosts are known to be friendly, but curious. At least up to now.
